Assistive Technology Consultative Service
The educational audiologist is available to provide training to school district personnel about how to consider assistive technology within the IEP process. The educational audiologist can provide consultative services to school district personnel about assistive technology equipment and materials that may be utilized for a specific student to access the general curriculum.

Assistive Technology Loan Service
A variety of devices and materials can be requested by school district personnel only through the assistive technology loan library. This library of equipment and instructional items can be accessed by contacting the educational audiologist at the Northern Ohio SERRC. These materials are provided on a six (6) week loan period. There is an Assistive Technology Materials Requisition Form that must be completed and signed by the building principal. All items must be returned in the same condition as when sent. Software Copyright Laws Absolutely prohibit the copying of CDs/disks. Remove borrowed programs from all computer hard drives prior to returning software.
